MEN’s UNO is a bi-monthly Chinese Men Fashion Magazine. It is published in Taiwan, Hong Kong, China and Malaysia since 1997. The recent issue, 2009/09, features a few words about El Bocho.

One of the major European newspapers, the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, weekly shows an illustration series called tragic strip. It deals with social, political and religious issues. Working on it was previously reserved for foreign illustrators like the Czech-slovakian Heinz Edelmann, famous for the production of the Beatles movie Yellow Submarine, and always lasted for 12 weeks. In 2008 El Bocho was the first German to contribute to tragic strip and work on it over a period of 20 weeks.

All of the illustrations are hand-made through stencils and illustrate the word nein (no).

The latest issue of the architecture and design magazine Metropolis from NYC did a six page feature on Timo Stammberger. The photos used are from his Underground Landscapes series and were taken in Dortmund (Germany), Lisbon (Portugal) and Berlin (Germany).

The latest isse of D2 covers a nice report on the german street art scene. Among El Bocho other keyplayers including art collectors and gallery owners are featured. Never mind the image size, the text is written in norwegian.
